COAGH PICK UP BIG HOME WIN AGAINST PSNI
Coagh United defeated PSNI by two clear goals at Hagan Park in the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League.
The home side started the brighter with a number of promising attacks coming to no avail, but it was PSNI who almost took the lead Henry Capper fired well over from a promising position.
Coagh United took the lead on 20 minutes though, as a pinpoint long pass from Jordan McMullan played Aaron Campbell through the middle and he kept his nerve to hold of the chasing defender and slot the ball past the goalkeeper for the opener.
The game was wrapped up in stoppage time as Coagh were awarded a penalty when James Turk fouled substitute Tiarnan Rafferty, the striker picked himself up and slotted home the decisive goal to guarantee three valuable points staying at Hagan Park.
