'POINT ON FIRE AT MILLTOWN
Warrenpoint Town blasted seven goals past the PSNI at Milltown to continue their 100% start to the new season.
Dauda Shotayo opened the scoring for Barry Gray's side after eight minutes when he made no mistake from a Steven Ball pass through the middle.
Declan Loye made it 2-0 a few minutes later when he pounced on a poor backpass to knock the ball beyond keeper Jonah Magill.
That was how it stayed until early in the second half when Michael Thompson pulled one back for the visitors but, on 72 minutes, 'Point's two-goal lead was restored after James Turk deflected the ball into his own net after a cross was delivered into the box.
Town moved further in front on 79 minutes after Colm Carney was on hand to nod home a Shotayo cross to the back post.
Substitute James McElligott then bagged two in quick succession before, in stoppage time, Ball completed the scoring with a well executed free-kick.
