STUDENTS SPOIL THE PARTY
There was no fairytale start for NIFL new boys Rathfriland Rangers after they crashed to a 5-1 defeat at home to Queen’s University.
Lorcan McIlroy fired the Students in front early on only for Jack Chambers to level for Rangers from the spot after a quarter-of-an-hour.
Queen’s moved back in front through Mikey Withers early in the second half before extending their lead later in the game. Stewart Nixon then added a fourth before, in the dying moments, Johnny Mairs completed the scoring.
