POSITIVE ENDING FOR THE PSNI
Despite finishing bottom of the table PSNI finished the season on a positive note with victory over Lisburn Distillery at Breda Park.
Billy Cassells opened the scoring midway through the first half after breaking down the left and beating the offside trap to knock the ball beyond keeper Rhys Clougherty.
The PSNI doubled their lead seven minures from the break through Henry Capper who tapped the ball home from close range after Aaron Cochrane's initial effort took a deflection.
Capper then added to the PSNI's lead just after the hour with his second of the evening after nodding home following a poor pass before Lewis Higginson bagged a consolation for the Whites from the spot.
