ROESIDERS SWEEP PAST STUDENTS
Limavady United swept to a 4-2 victory over Queen's University at The Showgrounds.
Ronan Young opened the scoring for the Students with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock after getting on the end of a Lorcan McIlroy cross.
United levelled just a couple of minutes after that through Ryan Doherty via a free-kick from distance before doubling up on 35 minutes with an effort in off an upright.
Ben Mulgrew volleyed the visitors back onto level terms just before the break but a Josh Tennant finished on the counter attack edged the Roesiders back into the lead early in the second half before Dean Brown completed the scoring later in the game.
