SEAHAWKS FEND OFF UNITED COMEBACK
Portstewart withstood a Tobermore United fight back to claim the points at Fortwilliam Park.
The Seahawks raced into the lead through Ryan Doherty as the sixth minute before Ryan Campbell doubled just before the half-hour mark.
Tobermore United squandered the chance to reduce the deficit on 36 minutes when Tiarnan Rafferty failed to convert from the spot, before falling further behind early in the second half courtesy of a Glenn Law finish.
However, Declan Martin did through Tobermore a glimmer of hope just after the hour and when Daniel Barfoot knocked home a second with six minutes remaining it set up a grandstand finish.
