BANBRIDGE EDGE OUT STUDENTS
Banbridge Town picked up a first win of the campaign with victory over Queen's University at Crystal Park.
Stephen McCavitt broke the deadlock six minutes into the second half with a volleyed finish from Ryan Gourley's cross.
Queen's levelled soon after through Lorcan McIlroy who reacted first to a loose ball in the area to fire into the roof of the net.
However Conor Downey knocked home what proved to the winner on 71 minutes at the second attempt from inside the box.
