ROESIDERS KEEP PLAY-OFF HOPES ALIVE
Limavady United twice came from behind to defeat Bangor in a gripping encounter at The Showgrounds.
The Seasiders started brightly, coming close on a number of occasions and hitting the bar before, on 20 minutes, Jamie Glover opened the scoring after shrugging off two defenders and rolling the ball past Connor Brown.
Limavady levelled on 31 minutes courtesy of Alex Pomeroy's spot-kick which he smashed high past Matthew Anderson but, just sixty seconds after that, Glover restored Bangor's lead with a 25-yard drive into the bottom corner.
The Roesiders levelled again seven minutes after the break with Pomeroy's second penalty of the afternoon, and they followed this up before the hour courtesy of Ryan Devine's lofted finish into the net.
United then extended their advantage midway through the second half when Pomeroy's cross was turned into his own net by Nicholas Aretzis ... but Pomeroy's afternoon turned a little sour in the closing minutes when he was dismissed after collecting his second caution of the game.
