BARR BAGS HAT-TRICK FOR SEAHAWKS
Zach Barr bagged a hat-trick as Portstewart hit three goals without reply past Lisburn Distillery at Mullaghacall.
Scoreless at the break, the Seahawks squandered the opportunity to break the deadlock early in the second half when Mark Edgar failed to convert from the spot when Whites keeper Jonah Nicholl superbly turned the ball onto an upright.
But Portstewart did go in front on 65 minutes with Barr's first of the evening with a header from a corner that looped into the net.
Then, ten minutes after that, Barr made it 2-0 after holding off Christian Irvine before his shot slipped through Nicholl's hands and into the net.
And he laid claim to the match ball with a couple of minutes remaining with a great strike to wrap the scoring up.
