SIX OF THE BEST FROM THE WHITES
Lisburn Distillery swept to an ultimately convincing 6-2 victory over PSNI at Breda Park.
However, the Whites had to come from behind to do so after Tony Tumelty fired the 'home' side in front on 14 minutes from a spot-kick delivered into the bottom left corner.
Distillery might have levelled with a penalty of their own on 22 minutes but Michael O'Hanlon could only see his effort saved by the legs of keeper Tom Hegan.
But it was 1-1 just after the half-hour mark courtesy of an unstoppable Joe Reid header after O'Hanlon had delivered a free-kick into the area.
Jordan Lucas edged Distillery in front not long after the break via a deflected rebound after his initial effort had been well saved by Hegan but it was all square again moments later after Jake Moore clipped the ball over Jonah Nicholl.
Stephen Sullivan restored Distillery's advantage midway through the second half before, five minutes after that, Lewis Higginson added a fourth on the rebound after Lucas' effort had been kept out by the bar.
O'Hanlon atoned for his penalty miss earlier on with Distillery's fifth with a curling finish at the back post before, in stoppage time, Caolan Conlon completed the scoring with an amazing 30-yard strike that hit one post and then the other before going in.
