TEN-MAN SEASIDERS HELD BY DOLLYBIRDS
Leaders Bangor had to settle for a share of the spoils from this trip to face Dollingstown.
Despite some early efforts from Bangor it fell to the home side to open the scoring towards the end of the first half when Daniel Gordon was on hand to send a close range header past Matthew Anderson after Nathan McConnell had done well with a run to create the opportunity.
The Seasiders levelled early in the second half, however, through Nicholas Aretzis' tap in from Isaac Fletcher's ball to the back post.
Bangor were reduced to ten men just before the hour after David Hume was adjudged to have handled on the line but, from the penalty that followed, Gary Liggett was unable to beat Anderson.
Boosted by this, Bangor moved in front through Jamie Glover when he connected with Reece Neale's free-kick to head in off the post.
But, ultimately, the points were shared when the Dollybirds levelled with around 20 minutes remaining when Ben Neill's shot from a corner was deflected home.
