WHITES GAIN REVENGE ON SEAHAWKS
Lisburn Distillery bounced back from last week's heavy loss to Portstewart by defeating the Seahawks in the return at Mullaghacall.
Portstewart had hit five goals without reply past the Whites at New Grosvenor seven days earlier but found themselves behind after 26 minutes when Aaron Harris fired the visitors in front with a great strike into the bottom corner.
And Distillery doubled their advantage just after the half-hour mark courtesy of Jordan Lucas' finish after a Michael O'Hanlon free-kick caught the home defence napping.
Portstewart pulled a goal back just before the break through Zach Barr who pounced on some poor play from the Whites ... and almost levelled in first half stoppage time only to be denied by Jonah Nicholl's stop from point blank range.
Lewis Higginson almost restored Distillery's two-goal cushion with around a quarter-of-an-hour to go only to strike the bar from distance.
Both sides ended the game with ten men following an 85th minute scuffle which saw Che Bradley and Christian Irvine dismissed by referee Kyle Barr.
