KING RETURNS EAGLES TO THE TOP
Armagh City moved back to the top of the Lough 41 Premier Intermediate League after a one-goal defeat of PSNI at The Dub.
What proved to be the match winner came as early as the fifth minute when the ball broke for Jordan King to send a low effort across Aaron MacFarlane from the edge of the box.
The Eagles might have doubled their lead midway through the second half only for Ruairi Duffy to crack a shot against the crossbar from 25 yards.
They came close again after the break when both Conor Mullen and Marc McConnell struck the base of an upright in seperate incidents but, in the end, that early King goal proved enough to secure the points.
