SEASIDERS STAY TOP OF THE PILE
Bangor remain a point clear at the top of the Lough 41 Premier Intermediate League thanks to victory over Portstewart at Clandeboye Park.
The Seasiders moved in front with just under a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock when Jamie Glover played Mark Cooling into the box to control the ball and slot the opener past Andrew Findlay.
Jordan Hughes might have added a second not long after the interval but his left-foot effort came back off the crossbar but, on 60 minutes, Reece Neale did double Bangor's lead from close range after Lewis Harrison's initial effort was kept out by Findlay.
Then, eight minutes after that, Karl Devine added a third after weaving his way into the box to beat the Seahawks keeper.
Portstewart did grab a late consolation, however, when Richard Vauls headed past Matthew Anderson at the back post.
