ROESIDERS EDGE PAST DOLLYBIRDS
Limavady United defeated Dollingstown by two goals at Planters Park to open up a three point gap on the Dollybirds in fourth spot.
Leading scorer Alex Pomeroy opened the scoring for the Roesiders after just six minutes when he converted from the spot after Stephen Acheson had conceded the penalty for a foul.
That was how it stayed until just before the hour mark when Ryan Doherty doubled the lead for the visitors.
Dollingstown are next in action in a couple of weeks when they travel to face the PSNI while, for Limavady, it's a home tie next Saturday against Lisburn Distillery in the Intermediate Cup.
