WHITES EDGE TO WIN IN BANGOR
A Michael O'Hanlon goal ten minutes from time gave Lisburn Distillery the edge over Bangor at Clandeboye Park.
The Whites got off to a bright start with Aaron Harris testing Bangor keeper Matthew Anderson after a couple of minutes before Mikey Withers also had a chance not long after that with Anderson again doing well to save.
Bangor almost moved in front on 12 minutes but were denied by a goalline Timmy Clarke clearance to keep out Ben Arthurs' header while Isaac Fletcher's rebound went wide.
The Seasiders went close again on 19 minutes when Lewis Harrison headed against the crossbar from a free-kick ... and the woodwork denied Bangor once more not long after that despite Reece Neale's free-kick being keeper Jonah Nicholl.
Both sides had chances as the game progressed but the conditions increasingly played their part in what developed into a somewhat scrappy encounter.
Dylan O'Kane almost made the breaktrough just after the hour with a long range effort which Nicholl did superbly to tip over before, moments after that, Harris cleared the ball off the line from the corner that followed.
However, what proved to be the only goal of the game arrived after 80 minutes when, on the counter attack, O'Hanlon raced clear to get past a couple of defenders and lift the winner over Anderson.
