ROESIDERS TOO STRONG FOR SEAHAWKS AT THE SHOWGROUNDS
A goal at the end of each half helped Limavady United defeat Portstewart in the North West derby at The Showgrounds.
The Roesiders moved in front a couple of minutes from the break through Gareth McFadden before Alex Pomeroy effectively made sure of the points with a successfully converted spot-kick with eight minutes remaining.
Limavady's afternoon was spoiled slightly, however, with Dean Brown's dismissal deep into injury time after receiving his second caution of the afternoon for delaying the restart of play.
