PSNI collected their first three points of the campaign with victory over Banbridge Town at The Dub.
Scoreless at the break, Aaron Cochrane opened the scoring for the Police seven minutes into the second half.
The visitors were reduced to ten men with nine minutes remaining when keeper Lewis Hunter was dismissed for bringing down a striker inside the box.
Jordan Hutchings extended the home lead just a couple of minutes after that, but Michael McCavitt pulled one back for Banbridge before the end to set up an exciting finish.
