SEAHAWKS TOO STRONG FOR SWANS
Portstewart got the better of Newington in an entertaining five-goal clash at Mullaghacall.
The Seahawks moved in front after just six minutes through John Watt before Joel Bradley added a second with less than a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock.
The Swans fought back to reduce the deficit through Richard Gowdy on 19 minutes before, 20 minutes after that, Watt doubled his tally for the afternoon with a header past Marc Maybin to restore Portstewart's two-goal advantage.
That was how it stayed, however, until the closing moments when Matthew Gorman pulled one back for the visitors.
