EAGLES WIN SEVEN GOAL SHOWGROUNDS THRILLER
Armagh City came out on top of a seven goal thriller with Limavady United at The Showgrounds.
The Eagles raced into an early advantage but were pegged back by the Roesiders before eventually emerging to claim to the points.
Padraig Judge opened the scoring for City after 11 minutes when he fired home from a corner before, soon after, Conor Mullen added a second with a fierce drive following another corner.
The scoring continued after half-an-hour through Ruairi Duffy's close range finish to make it 3-0 but back came Limavady through Ryan Doherty, Dean Brown from the spot and Matthew Brown on the stroke of half-time to make it all square at the break.
However, substitute Ross Lavery came off the bench midway through the second half to eventually secure the points for the visitors with a 25-yard free-kick with just over 20 minutes remaining.
