TWO FOR NEDAS AS ANNAGH GO THREE CLEAR
Leaders Annagh United moved three points clear at the top of the Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League after coming from behind at home to defeat Lisburn Distillery.
The Whites seized the early advantage when, after eight minutes, James Begley beat Eoin Hughes with a strike from the edge of the box into the bottom left corner.
Distillery continued to impress with James Wright and Timmy Clarke creating openings before, on 36 minutes, Annagh levelled through Niall Henderson's deflected effort past Jonah Nicholl.
Then, just after the hour, Nedas Maciulaitis edged Annagh in front for the first time before substitute Andrew Gordon made it 3-1 just a couple of minutes after coming on for Ben Eagle following great play from Maciulaitis and Craig Taylor.
Maciulaitis then completed the scoring with seven minutes remaining to round off a somewhat one-sided second half.
