HAT-TRICK FOR DOWIE AS MOYOLA SWEEP PAST WHITES
Chris Dowie knocked home a hat-trick as Moyola Park swept to a 5-2 victory over Lisburn Distillery at Mill Meadow.
The 35-year-old needed just two minutes to open the scoring before, after half-an-hour, Steven McQuillan made it 2-0 from a corner.
The Whites pulled a goal back moments from the break through Sean Gallagher but, just short of the hour, Dowie pounced on a defensive error to double his tally and restore Moyola's two-goal cushion.
And Dowie then claimed the match ball with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining while, with ten minutes to go, Paul Young struck for the visitors. Tiarnan Rafferty then hit Moyola's fifth in stoppage time.
