COSTELLO HELPS BANBRIDGE TO FIRST WIN
Banbridge Town picked up their first win of the campaign with victory over Lisburn Distillery at New Grosvenor.
The visitors opened the scoring seven minutes from half-time through Stephen McCavitt after his cross-shot caught keeper Jonah Nicholl off guard.
The Whites levelled nine minutes into the second half when James Wright converted from the spot although Gerard McErlean did well to get a hand to the ball.
But Banbridge moved back in front on 72 minutes when James Costello beat the offside track to beat Nicholl before, in stoppage time, the former Glenavon and Ballymena United man made sure of the points for Stuart King's side.
