HAT-TRICK FOR LIGGETT AS DOLLINGSTOWN HIT FIVE
Gary Liggett bagged a hat-trick as Dollingstown swept to a 5-1 victory over Limavady United at Planters Park.
But it was Aaron Rogers who opened the scoring for the Dollybirds when, after just eight minutes, he fired home from a corner.
That was how it stayed until five minutes into the second half when Keith Johnston fired high into the net after Glenn Hand had played him through.
Liggett then opened his account five minutes after that with a tap in following a move involving Johnston, David McCullough and Nathan McConnell.
The Roesiders pulled a goal back on the hour courtesy of Robbie Hume's finish after a break down the right.
However Liggett restored Dollingstown's three-goal advantage soon after when he turned smartly inside the area to score at the near post before completing the scoring with his hat-trick goal five minutes from time.
