SEAHAWKS TOP AFTER HIGH SCORING SHOWGROUNDS DRAW
Portstewart moved to the top of the table on goal difference following a high scoring draw with Limavady United at The Showgrounds.
The Roesiders got off to a storming start with goals from Dean Brown on four minutes and Sean McCarron after a quarter-of-an-hour.
Portstewart hit back via Mark Edgar midway through the first half, and then John Watt just before the break to leave the game evenly poised going in at the interval.
Edgar then edged the Seahawks in front on 58 minutes but Hugh Carlin levelled soon after for the home side.
However Lee Forgrave then re-established the lead for Portstewart, an advantage they held until the final minute when Ryan Doherty bagged the eighth goal of the game to earn Limavady a share of the spoils.
