HOLMES STRIKE GIVES ANNAGH THE EDGE
Jackson Holmes scored the only goal of the game as leaders Annagh United earned a home win over Armagh City.
Holmes found the net with a well executed finish after 20 minutes.
Armagh might have levelled just before the break when Ethan Copes was brought down by John Convery inside the box but Ryan Corrigan could only send the subsequent spot-kick wide of the target.
The game was abandoned on 78 minutes after a spectator was taken ill beside the home dugout, however the result was ruled to stand following a later committee decision.
