SEAHAWKS CONTINUE UNBEATEN START TO PIL CAMPAIGN
Portstewart held onto the only unbeaten record in the Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League with victory over Moyola Park at Mill Meadow.
There was little between the sides in a scoreless first half before the Seahawks gained the upper hand nine minutes after the break through Chris Hanson for what was his third goal of the season to date.
Then Glenn Law, who last found the net in a Craig Memorial Cup defeat of Magherafelt Sky Blues back in September, made it 2-0 with around a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
Moyola did pull a goal back courtesy of a Steven McQuillan strike eight minutes from time but it was too little, too late to spark a comeback.
