TEN-MAN EAGLES SHARE POINTS WITH BANBRIDGE
Armagh City and Banbridge Town battled to an equal share of the goals and points at Holm Park.
Ethan Copes had the ball in the net for Armagh with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock but his effort was ruled out offside.
Banbridge's first effort of note came at around 30 minutes but Jack Clarke's effort was saved by stand-in City keeper, player boss Shea Campbell who was deputising between the sticks after usual choice Conor Larkin felt unwell during the warm-up.
Armagh moved in front midway through the second half when a Caio Ferreita ball sent Ruairi Duffy clear to lob keeper Gerard McErlean.
The visitors almost levelled straightaway courtesy of a Stephen Greene header from a corner only for the crossbar to come to Armagh's rescue.
The Eagles were reduced to ten men on 81 minutes when Conor Mullen received his second caution of the game for unsporting behaviour.
Then, with five minutes to go, unfortunate City defender Shea Geraghty headed the ball into his own net whilst attempting to clear a cross from deep on the right to send the visitors back to Banbridge with a share of the spoils.
