MATCH BALL FOR ARTHURS AS SEASIDERS HIT SIX
Ben Arthurs bagged a first half hat-trick as Bangor swept to a comprehensive 6-2 home win over Moyola Park.
Arthurs opened the scoring for the Seasiders as early as the sixth minute with a header past Dwayne Nelson from Matthew Johnston's pinpoint cross.
He doubled up just three minute later with a looping finish into the top corner from Mark Cooling's corner before laying claim to the match ball with his third just after the half-hour mark with a scrambled effort over the line at the second attempt.
Moyola pulled a goal back a few minutes later when Christopher Dowie ran onto a Michael Tolan through ball to beat Jason Craughwell.
Gerard McMullan restored Bangor's three-goal cushion eight minutes into the second half following great work from Barry Walsh out on the right before, on the hour, Dowie pounced on the loose ball from Daniel McIlhatton's long range effort for Moyola's second.
However, Jordan Lucas added a fifth for Bangor on 68 minutes after showing great skill to turn and shoot from a tight angle. Cooling then completed the scoring with eight minutes remaining with a rifled finish from the edge of the area.
