GOALS GALORE AS ANNAGH MAKE IT THREE ON THE BOUNCE
League leaders Annagh United made it three wins from three with a high scoring home victory over bottom of the table Limavady United.
The game got off to an explosive start with three goals inside the opening quarter-of-an-hour.
Annagh raced into an eary lead through Christian Stewart on five minutes followed soon after by a Ben Eagle strike before, on 12 minutes, Sean McCarron pulled one back for the Roesiders with a free-kick straight into the top corner.
The game settled for a while before another flurry of goals heralded the end of the first half.
Annagh restored their two goal cushion on 38 minutes thanks to an individual effort from Daniel Gordon with Ruairi McDonald following suit just a couple of minutes after that while Hugh Carlin knocked home Limavady's second on the stroke of half-time.
The visitors were handed another boost early in the second half when Annagh were reduced to ten men following Ryan Woods' dismissal for a second bookable offence but it took them until the 77th minute to make their numerical advantage count when Dean Brown struck to bring it back to 4-3.
McDonald edged Annagh further in front with a well taken free-kick three minutes after that only for substitute Ryan Doherty to pull another one back for Limavady a few minutes later.
However, McDonald grabbed his hat-trick in stoppage time to make sure of the points for Annagh.
