MULLEN AND DUFFY ON TARGET AS EAGLES EDGE OUT WHITES
Goals from Conor Mullen and Ruairi Duffy helped Armagh City defeat Lisburn Distillery at Holm Park.
Mullen opened the scoring on 21 minutes after connecting from an Andy Wilson cross to nod the ball past Whites keeper Jonah Nicholl.
Despite having the better chances as the game progressed City were unable to extend their advantage until 11 minutes from time when Ruairi Duffy found the net with a header at the back post, again from a Wilson delivery.
The Whites did pull one back four minutes later through substitute Richard Nesbitt with a looping header but it wasn't enough to spark a late revival for the visitors.
