ANNAGH TAKE EARLY LEAGUE LEAD AFTER TWO FROM TWO
Annagh United moved to the top of the Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League with a two-goal home win over Moyola Park.
Although the new league campaign is very much in it's infancy Ciaran McGurgan's side are the only side with a maximum return after two games.
After a promising opening which produced two good openings it fell to Andy Gordon, scorer of winner last week at Tobermore, to fire United in front after a quarter-of-an-hour.
That was how it stayed until the 72nd minute when Ruairi McDonald, only on the field a short time as a replacement for Gordon, knocked home the second insurance goal to ensure the points stayed on the Tandragee Road.
