SCOLLAY STRIKES TO ENSURE WINNING START FOR NEWINGTON
A Padraig Scollay strike seven minutes from time helped Newington defeat Limavady United at The Showgrounds on the opening day of the new Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League season.
Daniel White opened the scoring for the Swans with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock, a lead the visitors held until the hour mark when Dean Brown levelled for the Roesiders.
However Scollay bagged the 83rd minute to ensure Newington got off to a winning start.
