After a quiet start to the game Queen's moved in front after 13 minutes when good work by Barry Walsh and Eamon Fyfe set up Ryan McCready 14-yards out to calmly guided a low shot into the corner of the goal.

Matt Hughes added a second soon after when he turned home a low Fyfe cross from left at the near post.

McCready scored again with a delightful chip over the 'keeper after he had been played in by Hughes ... and it was 4-0 when Ciaran O'Hare broke free and his low drive went in at the near post.

The second half was a quieter affair but 3 further goals rounded off an excellent display from the league leaders.

Hughes doubled his tally with a great shot from the edge of the box before Aaron Keenan who tapped in at the far post from a long cross by David Elliott, and in the closing Ronan Young's shot went through a lot of players and into the far corner.
