BLUEFIN SPORT PREMIER INTERMEDIATE PREVIEW: 25 NOVEMBER

There are four fixtures scheduled in the BlueFin Sport Intermediate league this Saturday, writes Aaron O'Neill.

League leaders Lisburn Distillery will be hoping to extend the gap at the summit of the table as they will be looking to pick up all 3 points when they face Sport and Leisure Swifts.

The Whites enjoyed a convincing 3-0 victory when the two sides clashed back in October and manager Colin McIlwaine will be hoping for more of the same this weekend.

Queens University will be hoping to get back on the victory trail when they take on bottom side Annagh United. The Students suffered a defeat at the hands of Donegal Celtic last weekend and they will be aiming to grab all 3 points in order to keep in touch Distillery.

Portstewart welcome second placed Dundela to Seahaven. The Duns moved into second spot in the table after last weekend’s 5-1 win against S&L Swifts whilst Portstewart were also the winning side last time out so Saturday’s fixture is shaping up to be a cracker.

Saturday’s only remaining fixture sees Banbridge Town take on Tobermore United. It’s a case of fifth versus sixth when these two sides clash at Crystal Park. A win for the visitors would see them go leavel on points with their hosts but Ronnie Haughey’s side will be aiming to pick up a win which would keep them well in the hunt for promotion.
