Warrenpoint Town swept to a comprehensive victory over Ballyclare Comrades in this top of the table clash at Milltown.

John McGuigan opened the scoring after 11 minutes with a deflected effort past Paddy Flood from the edge of the area.

Stephen Murray added a second four minutes later with a low drive after the home defence failed to clear their lines.

And he made it 3-0 moments after that with a simple tap-in after the ball fell kindly for him following a stretching save from Flood.

McGuigan knocked home Warrenpoint's fourth just before the break when he nipped in to make the most of a mix-up in the Comrades rearguard.
