Ballymena United and Cliftonville have used the most players (27) - 44% of Cliftonville players have been aged 21 or under (12) while 48% of Carrick Rangers players have been aged 30 or over (12).

27.4% of the players making a league appearance are 21 and under and 25.7% are 30 or older.

Coleraine only have 1 player who has appeared in the league this season aged 30 or over - Dean Jarvis (32). 31% of the players aged 30 or over have made league appearances for Portadown or Carrick Rangers.

Only an average of 13% of players making league appearances at the full-time clubs are 30 and over.

9% of the players making league appearances this season have been 18 or under.

Linfield’s Matthew Orr has played the most league minutes this season (1146) of any players aged 18 and under. The 17-year-old has started Linfield’s last five league games in which they are unbeaten, winning four, drawing one and conceding just one goal.

Glenavon’s 16-year-old midfielder Chris Atherton has started four of the Lurgan men’s last five league games, providing two assists. Chris is among a group of six players who have all made at least one league appearance this season at the age of just 15.

Cliftonville’s Coran Madden is still the youngest player to make a league appearance this season at 15 years 09 months and 18 days.

Crusaders 37 year old Jonny Tuffey is the oldest player that has played every minute in this season’s league campaign.

Portadown are unbeaten in their last 11 league games against Loughgall (8 wins 3 draws) – three of the last four league games at Lakeview Park between the sides have finished as a draw.

Glentoran have won four of their last ten league visits to the Ballymena Showgrounds with Ballymena winning three and there has been three draws.

Dungannon Swifts last league win at Seaview against Crusaders was just over 15 years ago when goals from Timmy Adamson (2) and James Slater helped the Swifts to a 3-2 win.

Glenavon are unbeaten in their last seven home league games against Coleraine.

The Lurgan Blues have only lost three times to Coleraine at home in the league since 2011 (8 wins, 11 draws and 3 losses).

Linfield have kept ten clean sheets in their last 13 home league games against Carrick Rangers winning 12 and drawing one.

Carrick’s Danny Gibson has scored four goals in his last four league appearances at Windsor Park for both Glentoran and Carrick Rangers.

Linfield have only lost one of their last 19 league fixtures in the month of December dating back to 20/21 season (14 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss).

Larne have only lost two of their home league fixtures against Cliftonville since their return to the top flight in the 19/20 season (5 wins, 4 draws).
