HW Welders hit four goals on the road to return to the top of the Playr-Fit Championship while morning leaders Bangor crashed by the same number away to Ballinamallard United.
The latest round of fixtures also produced victories for Armagh City, Institute and Ballyclare Comrades while it ended all square at Clandeboye Park.
The Welders bounced back from last week’s heavy defeat to thump Newington 4-1 at Inver Park.
Paul Kee’s side raced into a commanding lead inside the opening 20 minutes thanks to efforts from Tiarnan O’Connor and a Joshua Kee double.
Jordan McMullan added a fourth midway through the second half with Patrick Downey knocking home a consolation for the Swans soon after.
Ballinamallard United hit four goals without reply past Bangor at Ferney Park.
Daniel Barker hit two with just over a half-an-hour on the clock, ahead of second half finishes from Dean Corrigan and Darragh Stewart.
Third placed Limavady United went down at home to Ballyclare Comrades as Brian Healy claimed the only goal of the game inside the opening ten minutes.
And Dundela, in fourth, also slipped to a one-goal down with Igor Rutkowski hitting Armagh City’s late winner at Wilgar Park.
There was to be no winning return for Newry City boss Darren Mullen on his return to the club after City lost 2-0 away to Institute.
Sean Carlin edged ‘Stute in front on 62 minutes in off an upright, with Mikhail Kennedy making sure later in the second half on the rebound.
Meanwhile, at Clandeboye Park, Connor Maxwell hit Ards’ equaliser with just over ten minutes remaining to cancel out Lee Upton’s second half opener for Annagh United.
