HW Welders missed out on the opportunity to return to the top of the Playr-Fit Championship following a two-goal defeat at home to Ballyclare Comrades.
There were also victories for Dundela, Institute and Newry City while it ended all square at Holm Park.
The Welders had been knocked off top spot following Bangor’s Friday night defeat of Annagh United, but two second half goals saw Paul Kee’s side lose to the Comrades at the Blanchflower Stadium.
Brian Healy fired the visitors in front early in the second half with a stunning long range strike over the head of keeper Jack Mills, while Michael Morgan making sure later in the game after holding off the attention of a couple of defenders.
Newry City fought back from a goal down at the break to defeat Newington at The Showgrounds.
Joshua Diver had fired the Swans in front on 37 minutes, but Fra McCaffrey levelled for Darren Mullen’s side early in the second half.
Adam Carroll then nodded home Newry’s second just after the hour before Donal Scullion made sure of the points late in the game.
Institute also came from behind to get the better of Ballinamallard United at the Brandywell.
Simon Warrington opened the scoring for the Mallards as early as the sixth minute, a lead they held until midway through the second half when Shane Boyle levelled before Padraig Lynch headed home the winner in added time.
And it took just one goal for Dundela to have the edge over Ards at Wilgar Park. The 20-year-old bagged the winner just before the half-hour mark with a finish into the bottom left from around 20 yards.
Meanwhile, at Holm Park, Armagh City and Limavady United shared the four goals on offer.
Stephen Teggart edged City in front early on with a neat finish, but the Roesiders hit back through Michael McCrudden towards the end of the first half.
Joe McCready handed the visitors the lead in the second half, but just when it looked like that’d be enough to secure the win up popped Igor Rutkowski in the 95th minute to earn a point for the Eagles!
