The latest round of Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League games produced a healthy supply of goals alongside victories for Dollingstown, Rathfriland Rangers, Queen’s University and Warrenpoint Town.

On Friday night Dollingstown continued their perfect run with victory over Banbridge Town at Planters Park to make it six wins from six.

Although scoreless at the break, three goals in less than 20 second half minutes saw the Dollybirds gain control of the game and, ultimately, the points.

Henry Cromack opened the scoring five minutes after the interval before doubling up just after the hour through a crowded box after the ball came over from the left.

Daniel Gordon then added a third midway through after slotting past keeper Ben Purvis on the edge of the six yard box.

Matthew Taylor grabbed a consolation for the visitors with just over ten minutes remaining.

Warrenpoint Town, in second place, defeated Coagh United by the odd goal in five on Saturday.

But they had to come from behind to do so after Zach Ferson had edged the visitors in front after nine minutes from a square ball.

Jim O’Hanlon levelled for ‘Point on 20 minutes, but Ferson struck again soon after from a corner to restore Coagh’s lead.

Back came Warrenpoint before the half-hour mark with a Stuart Hutchinson header from Diarmuid O’Hanlon’s corner before, with just over ten minutes left, Conall Murray knocked home what proved to be the winner from Ben Walker’s looping ball.

Oxford Sunnyside slipped to third place after losing 3-2 away to Queen’s University.

Marc McKenna opened the scoring for the Students after half-an-hour only for Marcio Soares to equalise for Oxford soon after.

Ronan Young restored the advantage just before the break but Craig Smith hit back for the visitors midway through the second half.

However Charlie Chapman bagged the winner two minutes from time after dealing with a difficult ball before slotting home into the corner.

There were eight goals on offer at Iveagh Park as Rathfriland Rangers defeated Knockbreda 5-3 to collect their second win of the campaign.

Jake Corbett led the way for Rangers with a superb hat-trick alongside goals from Jack Chambers and Matthew Holloway, while Curtis Kenny, Bobby Higgins and Fra Nolan all registered for ‘Breda.

At Darragh Park Sean McCarron hit a stoppage equaliser for Dergview as they shared the spoils with Portstewart.

Glenn Law had given the Seahawks the lead towards the end of the first half with a successfully converted spot-kick, an advantage they held until the 94th minute when substitute McCarron popped up with the leveller.

And it also ended all square between Ballymacash Rangers and Lisburn Distillery in the derby on Friday night.

'Cash led at the break when Benny Igiehon found a way through on 36 minutes after nodding home a cross from the right.

And the home side doubled their advantage nine minutes into the second half courtesy of Adam Neale's back post finish after beating the offside trap.

But the Whites responded almost immediately after Aaron Cochrane got the final touch to force the ball over the line at the back post after a corner had come over from the right.

Then, just three minutes after that, Cochrane struck again in similar circumstances, albeit this time at the near post, with another header from another corner.
