Leaders Dollingstown returned to winning ways as a full round of games in the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League also saw Rathfriland Rangers, Queen’s University and Portstewart pick up three points apiece.

The Dollybirds swept to a three-goal defeat of Dergview at Planters Park.

Aaron Duke opened the scoring on eight minutes, and doubled up from the spot just after the half-hour mark. Henry Cromack then completed the scoring early in the second half.

Rathfriland Rangers made it four wins on the bounce with victory over Coagh United at Iveagh Park.

Matthew Holloway broke the deadlock on 20 minutes, with an own goal from Calum MacGregor doubling the home advantage a few minutes later.

Zach Ferson pulled one back for the visitors just before the break but Jake Corbett made sure for Rangers right at the end.

Queen’s University were the top scorers on the day with a six-goal haul at home to Moyola Park.

Dan Mairs fired the Students in front as early as the second minute with Mikey Withers and Ben Mulgrew bagging a further two each before the break as Queen’s went in with a handsome advantage.

Skipper Matthew Hughes calmly slotted number six into the corner just past the hour with Luca Doherty slotting home a consolation spot-kick for the visitors.

Portstewart were the only away winners after they defeated Tobermore United at Fortwilliam Park.

Ciaran O’Hara knocked home the only goal of the game for the Seahawks seven minutes from time.

Ballymacash Rangers came from behind to share the spoils with Oxford Sunnyside at the Bluebell Stadium.

James McConville edged Oxford in front early in the game, a lead they held until midway through the second half when Dylan Sinnerton sent a deflected effort past the visiting keeper.

Warrenpoint Town raced into an early lead away to Knockbreda but, in the end, had to settle for a draw.

Declan Loye opened the scoring in the first minute with a header from Diarmuid O’Hanlon’s pinpoint cross.

‘Breda hit back later in the half through Peter McDermott after pouncing on a loose ball in the box.

Meanwhile, at Ballyskeagh, Lisburn Distillery and Banbridge Town also battled to a 1-1 draw.

Matthew Taylor handed the visitors a 47th minute lead after pouncing on the rebound from a great Lorcan Donnelly save but the Whites responded less than ten minutes later when Adam McCart headed in off the underside of the bar.
