Moyola Park, Dollingstown and Oxford Sunnyside are the only teams still with a 100% record following the first two rounds in the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League.

Kenny Shiels’ Moyola kicked the weekend off on Friday night with a thumping 5-1 defeat of Coagh United at Mill Meadow.

Caiolan Brennan opened the scoring with just under a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock, with Jake Francis doubling their lead moments later.
Brennan bagged his second of the evening later in the first half and whilst Joe McKay pulled one back for the visitors soon after there was still time for Kenny Kane to restore Moyola's three-goal cushion before the break.
That was how it stayed until 12 minutes from time when Shea McAuley completed the scoring.

Dollingstown defeated Ballymacash Rangers by the odd goal in three at the Bluebell Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Scoreless at the break, Henry Cromack fired the Dollybirds in front early in the second half but Benny Igiehon fired into the bottom corner to equalise just after the hour.

However the visitors hit back in the closing moments through Ashley Beckett for what turned out to be the winner.

And one goal was all that Oxford Sunnyside needed to get past Knockbreda at ‘Breda Park.

The league new boys made it two wins from two when Callum Ferris struck after a quarter-of-an-hour to continue their perfect start to life in their new surroundings.

Rathfriland Rangers, themselves only in their second season in the Premier Intermediate League, cruised to a crushing five-goal victory over Portstewart at Mullaghacall.

The visitors raced into a commanding lead when goals from Ruari Fitzpatrick and Eoin Rooney with as little as five minutes on the clock put them into a strong position early on.

Callum Dougan added a third on 18 minutes, and doubled his account six minutes after the break, before Josh Cooper wrapped things up with around 20 minutes remaining.

Paul Smith bagged Dergview’s winner just after the hour as they defeated Tobermore United at Fortwilliam Park.

Sam Sproule had edged the visitors in front on 15 minutes, but this was cancelled out by Daniel McIlhatton before the half-hour mark.

Two games ended in stalemate, with Christopher Crane hitting Warrenpoint Town’s leveller early in the second half to wipe out Matthew Taylor’s 21st minute opener for Banbridge Town at Milltown while it ended scoreless at Ballyskeagh between Lisburn Distillery and Queen’s University.
