Ahead of the 2024 NI Football Awards the nominees for the Championship Player of the Year have been announced.

This season has arguably been the most exciting campaign in the history of the Playr-Fit Championship, with five teams still in with a chance of winning the division.

The battle for the Championship Player of the Year is no less exciting with three top players fighting over the prestigious crown.

Bangor's mercurial playmaker Scott McArthur, Institute's commanding defender Shaun Leppard and Dundela's deadly striker Jordan Jenkins have all been nominated for the prize.

All three players were included also included in the Championship Team of the Year.

The winner will be announced at the NI Football Awards, which will be staged at Belfast's Crowne Plaza on Saturday night. The gala event is jointly organised by the Northern Ireland Football Writers' Association and the NI Football League.
