Cliftonville and Coleraine will represent the Sports Direct Premiership in the SPFL Trust Trophy this weekend.

Both clubs were selected to participate as the highest placed Premiership clubs who were not competing in European competition, and were given a bye to the Third Round of the competition which has invited guest clubs from Northern Ireland since the 2016/17 season.

On Saturday Oran Kearney’s Bannsiders will welcome competition holders Hamilton Academicals of Scottish League One to the Showgrounds, kick-off 3pm.

Meanwhile, Cliftonville will travel across the Irish Sea to take on SPFL Championship club, and beaten finalists last season, Raith Rovers (ko 2pm).
