A high scoring afternoon in the Playr-Fit Championship produced victories for top two Dundela and Portadown alongside wins for Institute, Annagh United, Dergview and Ballinamallard United.
Dundela hold onto a three-point advantage at the summit following a 3-1 defeat of basement boys Knockbreda at Breda Park.
Anto Burns opened the scoring after half-an-hour after jinking his way to a low finish past keeper Marc Matthews before a couple of goals in quick succession early in the second half from Andy Hall and Jake Corbett put the issue beyond doubt.
Guillaume Keke did pull one back for ‘Breda but they still await their first point of the campaign.
Portadown withstood an attempted HW Welders fightback to eventually run out 5-2 winners at Shamrock Park.
Cruising at the break through goals from Paul McElroy, Christopher Rodgers and Ryan Mayse, the Ports were almost pegged back midway through the second half when Matthew Ferguson hit a quick fire double for the Welders.
But a Mayse spot-kick with just under a quarter-of-an-hour to go, followed by a Caolin Coyle finish right at the end saw the Ports win through to claim the points.
Institute hit four goals past Bangor at the Brandywell to move about the Seasiders into third spot.
Shaun Leppard handed ‘Stute the lead at the break with a close range finish before Kirk McLaughlin bagged a second half hat-trick to make sure of the win.
He grabbed his first on 54 minutes with a finish into the top corner, doubled up on the hour and completed his treble late in the game after nipping past the Bangor keeper to tap into the empty net.
Annagh United needed a stoppage time winner to defeat Ards at Clandeboye Park despite leading by two goals the break.
Ciaran McGurgan’s side raced into the lead as early as the opening minute through Stephen Murray, with Ruairi McDonald adding a second late in the first half.
Two goals in quick succession just after the hour from Salou Jallow and Aidan Steele saw Ards roar back into contention but a Jamie Doran strike in the sixth minute of added time eventually saw Annagh claim the points.
New Dergview manager Emmet Friars got his reign off to a winning start with victory over Newington at Darragh Park.
Level at the break after Neil Cummings had wiped out Niall McGinley’s opener, it fell to Gareth Harkin to knock home what proved to be the winner early in the second half.
Meanwhile, at Ferney Park, interim Ballinamallard United boss Mark Stafford saw his side get the better of Ballyclare Comrades with the only goal of the game coming around the hour through Simon Warrington’s close range finish.
