Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League side Moyola Park have parted company with manager Stephen Hughes.

In a statement released via their social media channels, the club said: "First Team Manager Stephen Hughes has left Moyola Park this morning by mutual consent following discussion with the club.

Chairman David Speirs commented, "Unfortunately results and recent performances have not been at the standard expected at the club or the expectations of the manager himself and we agreed it was best for both parties to move on.

"Stephen has always conducted himself in the most professional manner at the club and we are grateful for the dedication and work ethic he applied to the role. We can only wish him the very best in the future."

"Andy Law will look after first team affairs in the interim as we prepare for an important away game at Ballymacash Rangers on Monday 16th October."
