Coleraine have confirmed the return of David McDaid to the club from Ballymena United, while Alex Gawne has agreed terms to move in the opposite direction.
McDaid will be no stranger to the Ballycastle Road having previously spent a short time there nine years ago as part of a varied career that also brought spells with Derry City, Sligo Rovers, Finn Harps, York City, Cliftonville, Waterford and Larne.
Bannsiders boss Oran Kearney expressed his delight at teaming up with the 32-year-old striker again, "We are absolutely delighted to welcome Davy back to Coleraine.
"We have mentioned before that we are going to have to be quite bespoke in terms of targets and Davy fits that bill.
"Matthew [Shevlin] had a cracking season for us and Davy will be able to provide that little bit of guile and I’m sure they will have a great partnership in attack.
“I still feel that Davy still has plenty left in the tank and his brain is his biggest asset. I have no doubt that he will continue to get better and better and we are looking forward to working with him once again."
Meanwhile, 22-year-old striker Gawne moves to the Warden Street Showgrounds after spending the last four seasons on loan at Carrick Rangers from Coleraine during which he clocked up in excess of 70 appearances and, of course, played alongside newly appointed Sky Blues boss Jim Ervin.
