Joe Crowe has joined Carrick Rangers on a three-year deal, the club has announced.
The 25-year-old midfielder makes the switch to the Loughview Leisure Arena after spending the last five years with Glentoran.
A former Northern Ireland youth international, Crowe served his formative years at Norwich City in addition to a loan spell with Limerick before returning home initially to Linfield ahead of a move to the Oval.
Speaking about the move, Crowe told the official club website: "I am delighted to sign for Carrick. I’m really looking forward to playing my football here and hope to get as many games under my belt as possible.
When I spoke to Stuart and Peter they really got me excited about the project here and it was something I couldn’t turn down. I can’t wait for the season to start and to meet up with all the lads in pre-season."
Newly promoted Loughgall unveiled the signing of Caolan McAleer from Ballinamallard United.
The 29-year-old was previously at Lakeview Park for six months during latter part of the 2021/22 campaign and brings with him bags of experience from a varied career that has included spells in Scotland and the League of Ireland.
And, on a big day in the transfer market, Eamon Fyfe has departed Coleraine for a season long loan spell at Portadown while Dean Ebbe has been released by Crusaders to sign up with Gibraltarian club Manchester 62.
