Arrangements for the 2023 Women’s Premiership League Cup Final have now been confirmed.

In a repeat of last year, Sion Swifts Ladies defend their title against reigning league champions Cliftonville Ladies in the showpiece final.

The match will be played at Stangmore Park, home of Dungannon Swifts FC, on Thursday 31 August – kick-off: 7.45pm.

Last season, Sion Swifts Ladies lifted the League Cup for the first time in their history, as Cora Chambers struck twice against the Reds in extra-time.

The Swifts have overcome Ballymena United Women, Mid Ulster Ladies and a narrow semi-final victory over Crusaders to seal a place in this year’s final.

After receiving a bye in the first round of the competition, the Reds overcame stiff opposition in Glentoran (quarter-finals) and Linfield (semi-finals) to place them one step away from another piece of silverware at Solitude.
