Crusaders are through to the next round of the UEFA Europa Conference League following a one-goal defeat of FC Haka at Seaview.
Tied 2-2 after the first leg a week ago, both sides had their chances in the first half to gain the upper hand in the tie with the visitors perhaps coming closest when Logan Rogerson's back post volley was blocked by Jarlath O'Rourke.
The Crues started the second half brightly, threatening through a Jordan Forsythe volley before Philip Lowry was denied by a goalline clearance.
Paul Heatley was then denied by the base of an upright before what proved to be the winner came with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when Anthony Herbert was dispossessed by Heatley who then brought the ball forward and fired past keeper Aatu Hakala into the bottom corner from around 20 yards out.
Haka might have forced extra-time late in the game but Jonny Tuffey was on hand to deal with a bullet header from Stavros Zarokoastas to ensure safe passage for Stephen Baxter's side.
Crusaders will face Rosenborg BK in the Second Qualifying Round next Thursday night at Seaview, with the return a week after that in Norway.
